Creating a custom data view for user profiles
- Last Updated: February 3, 2026
Data views are a way of simplifying the view you see when you click on the All User Data tab of a profile. There may be times when you only want to see a few fields and instead of scrolling through every field you have in the system, you can create a data view which is a subset of the All User Data tab.
You can create a custom view of the data within a user's profile that is specific to your login. Nobody else will see these data views.
- Go to any user profile and click on the gear icon on the Data Views tab.
- Choose the user type you want and then click the blue button labeled Add New Data View. Once you click save you can then click on the icon to the right of the Data View you just created and click Edit Fields. From the popup, you can select as many profile fields as you want and then hit Add.
- You can rearrange them by dragging and dropping a field.
- If you go back to a user's profile, you can now click on the Data Views tab and then you will see your new Data View to click on.
